This time next week, I will be in the midst of Benicassim Festival (FIB) and I am honestly beyond excited. The entire thing is getting me so hyped up, even the airport experience! Does anybody else just love the airport/flying? I DO!

So as I only have a week to go until I jet off, the need to start planning outfits and frantically packing is creeping upon me, and I am still struggling to decide what to bring along on the trip. I shot this look two weeks ago, and I instantly fell in love with it, so I am 100% going to be wearing a variation of this while I am away, but maybe with a little cover-up so I don't feel so naked. So let's begin to discuss why its so greeeaaaat.

- OUTFIT -
Bikini: ASOS
Sunglasses: Ralph Lauren
Denim Shorts: Monki
Trainer Pumps: Converse

As you probably all know, I'm not the fondest of shorts OR wearing skimpy clothing that reveals a lot. But, I do love this outfit combination surprisingly. Firstly because this ASOS bikini - YELLOW ASOS BIKINI BTW - has high waisted bottoms, so I think this makes me feel a lot more comfortable because it means less skin is on show, although may I add these are are a high leg pant so without the shorts I am perhaps revealing more skin! But, ASOS do have different options that match this bikini top, although you will have to be quick if they bring them back in stock because they're currently all sold out. Anyway, to get back on track, the top part of this bikini is also a little less revealing because it is a sort of sports style in shape, so there is no real cleavage when wearing this which I like!

Secondly, these shorts. So I purchased these last year and they got a little bit of wear but nothing too crazy. However, I have rekindled my love for them because I feel as though for a short short, they cover up everywhere that's necessary, without becoming a longer short (ygm?). They're also super comfy and I am really digging the darker shade of blue denim! The only downside to these is that they start to crease and misshapen throughout the day, so you would have to change if you were going for an evening/ late afternoon meal on holiday if you wanted to look chic all day!

See you on Friday for another post! Please do let me know if you're enjoying this saga. Also, what are YOUR summer holiday packing essentials?

SENDING PEACE AND LOVE

HELLO HELLO! So this is going to be a little 'saga' of looks I've selected that I think would be super appropriate for your summer holidays, or equally just as good as a festival outfit. I am aiming to make them as realistic as possible, in the sense that each outfit is something that I would actually wear on holiday, and also so that each look is relatively affordable and could incorporate items you already have hidden in your wardrobe, alongside more trend-based pieces. Hopefully, this will be a success and may inspire you while planning your own holiday outfits. I don't know about you guys, but I find it ever so tedious trying to plan holiday outfits, so I feel like this would help me! Lastly, I am going away soon myself, so I am hoping to use these blog posts to document outfit ideas that I will be able to wear myself! Milk it vintage

Dress: Milk It Vintage Leather Jacket: Heeli Ripped jeans: Topshop Trainer pumps: Asos Rucksack: Fjallraven Kanken  Hey! A slow, slightly slurred good morning from me to you, but eh that's what Sunday's are for right... So today I wanted to share with you a blog post containing some simple, casual items, that actually I wear pretty often. So firstly, the dress from Milk It Vintage is something I only purchased about a month ago from Asos and I would highly recommend you take a look at their range of items on the Asos site. So it's a Tshirt style dress with large rips in one shoulder, side and chest (but not too big at the chest, rest assured). I have worn it as a top rather than a dress in this styling, however I have found that it works perfectly both ways. It is incredibly comfortable, soft, and not fitted at all. The only defect it has is that the label on the inside of the neckline is ridiculously itchy !!!!!  So anyway, I st...

| The Truth About Student Life | 20/02/18 |

M O R N I N G  I almost feel like I've forgotten how to write a blog post, so the format of this post might be a bit 'up in the air'. Therefore, before I delve into things, here's a quick disclaimer... On the 26th December, I uploaded a blog post surrounding the topic of social media, and the influence I feel it has on the mental health of its users. Since then, I have been absent from this blog, and largely absent from social media in general, because I feel as though I've had nothing worth saying recently. I would much rather only upload when I am bringing a little something useful to the internet that even if only one person found it interesting, it would at least have a purpose.  This leads swiftly on to the subject of this post. Student life, and the truth about how it feels to experience daily life as a young adult, studying at University. I promise to not sugar coat the finer details, and to accurately portray the common notions of being a student...
