A cuppa tea solves everything - A British Tradition

Happy Friday guys!

I hope you're all well and that your day is fun filled. I really wanted my vintage tea dress to make another appearance on the blog, because it's too gorgeous to sit in my wardrobe much longer - and also because it's not a winter/ autumnal piece and we are definitely running low on summer time...

I also think this dress can be dressed both up and down, so I wanted to execute the way it's totally cool to keep it casual when wearing vintage pieces, and that a cheap tatty pair of Asos trainer pumps can be worn with timeless items - that's what I am hoping for anyway, ha.

It saddens me to think that in a few years this dress will most definitely not fit me as the stitching is ever so delicate and I even struggle to raise my arms without the fear of that awful *kkkkkkrr* tearing noise - it's quite unbearable!! So, luckily for you, you may become quite sick of seeing this item, but I want to make the most of being small enough to wear it and I think it's a lot of fun to play around with styles when wearing a vintage piece, it's pretty exciting!

So Happy Fashion Friday everyone, and have a fantastic weekend of relaxation (unless you're under 20 and most probably slaving your way to work in a smelly takeaway shop or faking a Cheshire Cat smile as you serve customer after customer - oh the sweet smell of teenage years).

SEE YOU ALL NEXT WEEK!!!!

How are we all doing this morning?  I am currently sat on my bed in the late afternoon, with a hot cup of tea to hand (hopefully I won't forget about it), and I am really digging deep in my thoughts in terms of what I want to talk about today. A stressed student, on the cusp of several deadlines and all I can think about is this blog post. Blogging is a funny thing, sometimes it is my ultimate escape where I can just unwind and spill out onto the page whatever springs to mind. But sometimes, blogging can feel overwhelming, like I am being forced to think about my reality in its most raw state, and sometimes life is not all fun and games, and I just don't really want to come to terms with my busy mind.  Before I babble on about life and bore you all...

| Festival / Holiday Look No.1 | 20/06/17 |

HELLO HELLO! So this is going to be a little 'saga' of looks I've selected that I think would be super appropriate for your summer holidays, or equally just as good as a festival outfit. I am aiming to make them as realistic as possible, in the sense that each outfit is something that I would actually wear on holiday, and also so that each look is relatively affordable and could incorporate items you already have hidden in your wardrobe, alongside more trend-based pieces. Hopefully, this will be a success and may inspire you while planning your own holiday outfits. I don't know about you guys, but I find it ever so tedious trying to plan holiday outfits, so I feel like this would help me! Lastly, I am going away soon myself, so I am hoping to use these blog posts to document outfit ideas that I will be able to wear myself! | Does The Internet Influence Your Mental Health? | 26/12/17 |

A F T E R N O O N | SHOP MY OUTFIT: | COAT:  New Look | TEE:  Reserved | TROUSERS:  New Look | TRAINERS: H&M  | The internet is such a strange world, and it is in fact its own world - so far from reality yet so close, it redefines society conceptually to be honest. The internet can bring such wonderful things into the world: the announcement of a new baby, an endless supply of fashion inspiration, the top news at the fastest rate, and so many amazing memories and conversations can be shared between the beautiful people on this planet. The internet is an extraordinary place, and even more so as someone who has grown up in this time of technology. I bloody love the internet and all it brings to the world, I honestly think the internet is such a great platform for humanity to connect, share and create. However, I have been wondering my mind recently, quite intently, and have found myself shying away from the internet, and social media platforms. Despi...
