I AM BACK.... WITH BELL SLEEVES

Afternoon my lovely lovely readers!!

I have literally vanished off the blogging planet since the beginning of January, and I obviously therefore haven't been updating you with trendy treasures, so I'm sorry for that!! Sometimes though, you need to take a break (a six month break lol) and since I had Alevels this year I really needed to focus my time on those. Also, I've had a bit of a rocky year so far and so I really needed to spend some time on myself and my own well being. But I am 100% back and ready to get back on board with the blog. I am sooo excited! So I hope you enjoy :)

Dress: Kiss The Sky (Asos)
White Sunglasses: Primark
Peach Sunglasses: Topshop
Heels: Asos
Fringe bag: New Look
Hoop earrings: Asos

So, this year I have been completely infatuated so far with festival inspired items of clothing, boho patterns and as always, I've been enjoying fringing on items. So, I figured that this dress would be perfect for a summers day, as it's got the most lovely boho inspired pattern. I also adore the colours, coral, blues and pale tones that work ever so well together. I was also intrigued to adventure with Bell Sleeves. I love them. They're so elegant and floaty which I think makes this dress particularly gorgeous and a lot smarter than a dress with regular sleeves. The choker neckline is also great, as it means you haven't got to be too full-on with accessories, and as we all know accessories in the summer heat can be problematic. I only purchased this dress recently, and is still available on Asos. To pair with the dress, I wanted to keep it simple. The hoop earrings from Asos are fab, I've been wearing them a lot and they're so light and easy to pop in. Also, the heels are from Asos, but I've had these a year or so now so they are no longer available. I think nude shoes are so handy, whether they're pumps, sandals or heels, everyone needs some!

Generally, I love this outfit as it's cool but effortless and I would definitely recommend having a look at what items Kiss The Sky have available on Asos!

Lots of love,

| Festival / Holiday Look No.1 | 20/06/17 |

HELLO HELLO! So this is going to be a little 'saga' of looks I've selected that I think would be super appropriate for your summer holidays, or equally just as good as a festival outfit. I am aiming to make them as realistic as possible, in the sense that each outfit is something that I would actually wear on holiday, and also so that each look is relatively affordable and could incorporate items you already have hidden in your wardrobe, alongside more trend-based pieces. Hopefully, this will be a success and may inspire you while planning your own holiday outfits. I don't know about you guys, but I find it ever so tedious trying to plan holiday outfits, so I feel like this would help me! Lastly, I am going away soon myself, so I am hoping to use these blog posts to document outfit ideas that I will be able to wear myself! | The Truth About Student Life | 20/02/18 |

M O R N I N G  I almost feel like I've forgotten how to write a blog post, so the format of this post might be a bit 'up in the air'. Therefore, before I delve into things, here's a quick disclaimer... On the 26th December, I uploaded a blog post surrounding the topic of social media, and the influence I feel it has on the mental health of its users. Since then, I have been absent from this blog, and largely absent from social media in general, because I feel as though I've had nothing worth saying recently. I would much rather only upload when I am bringing a little something useful to the internet that even if only one person found it interesting, it would at least have a purpose.  This leads swiftly on to the subject of this post. Student life, and the truth about how it feels to experience daily life as a young adult, studying at University. I promise to not sugar coat the finer details, and to accurately portray the common notions of being a student...

| Autumn Is On The Way | 12/09/17 |

I am in absolute shock at how quickly this year is passing us by, how is it already September? As we all know, September is that time of year where everyone goes back to school/college/uni and we begin the much anticipated warm up to hot chocolate, fluffy socks and CHRISTMAS. Fear not, don't run away, I'm not one of those crazy Christmas people who begins to prepare the following Christmas in January, its just something to think about... Autumn is becoming apparent now, and leaves will soon be falling from the trees, boots and coats will be dusted off from last year, and we will all begin to say those forbidden words, 'I am so cold'. Alongside many, Autumn is one of my favourite times of year, particularly in terms of fashion. I am a huge fan of comfort over style (ironically) so Autumn gives me the perfect excuse to allow my baggy jumpers and checked shirts to pass as fashion pieces. So today, I thought I would share with you all my first composed AW17 loo...
