'On Wednesdays we wear pink!'

...I wish it was a Wednesday, for the Mean Girls quote would be even better!
For this blog post I was kinda aiming for fun, bubbly and smiley...

So apart from feeling like Malibu Barbie mixed with Ken, I also feel like this outfit is really fun! Pink is definitely a fun colour, but also quite girly, and I adore this combination - I think it's so sweet!

Firstly, the top. I absolutely larrrve this cropped top from Asos because even though it's quite simple, I think it really makes a statement. It is quite revealing, since it's cropped and virtually backless, with a button top and D ring belt at the back (convenient because it can be tightened to fit) however, I think it remains classy, particularly as the neckline is relatively high.
The shorts I am wearing are from Missguided and I purchased these last summer. These are brilliant because they are beyond comfortable! I really love the fact that the zip is at the back of the shorts because it means there are no bulges on your tummy (they're high waisted shorts as you can see). The only slight issue with this item is that despite the fact they're shorts, they're quite thick and I definitely wouldn't wear them if it was roasting hot. Saying that, they are quite smart and so are ideal for a summer evening.
The jumper is a Marks and Spencer's little gem. It's not too hot, and is of a great quality. Also, it matches well with the shorts and top for quite a girly, sophisticated look - love it!

The sandals have featured in my blog before and also, I feel they aren't the perfect match for this outfit if you were to wear this in the evening, however in the day they're fab! Lastly, the scarf. Unfortunately you cannot purchase this yourself as its vintage. I bought this scarf at a vintage fair for an absolute bargain about a year ago. I think something quirky that you aren't likely to see anyone else wearing can really make an outfit 100X more desirable and I feel this little splash of pale green freshens up this little combination. I would definitely recommend having a look online for local vintage fairs as you can find some real treasures and for brilliant prices!

| Festival / Holiday Look No.1 | 20/06/17 |

HELLO HELLO! So this is going to be a little 'saga' of looks I've selected that I think would be super appropriate for your summer holidays, or equally just as good as a festival outfit. I am aiming to make them as realistic as possible, in the sense that each outfit is something that I would actually wear on holiday, and also so that each look is relatively affordable and could incorporate items you already have hidden in your wardrobe, alongside more trend-based pieces. Hopefully, this will be a success and may inspire you while planning your own holiday outfits. I don't know about you guys, but I find it ever so tedious trying to plan holiday outfits, so I feel like this would help me! Lastly, I am going away soon myself, so I am hoping to use these blog posts to document outfit ideas that I will be able to wear myself! Milk it vintage

Dress: Milk It Vintage Leather Jacket: Heeli Ripped jeans: Topshop Trainer pumps: Asos Rucksack: Fjallraven Kanken  Hey! A slow, slightly slurred good morning from me to you, but eh that's what Sunday's are for right... So today I wanted to share with you a blog post containing some simple, casual items, that actually I wear pretty often. So firstly, the dress from Milk It Vintage is something I only purchased about a month ago from Asos and I would highly recommend you take a look at their range of items on the Asos site. So it's a Tshirt style dress with large rips in one shoulder, side and chest (but not too big at the chest, rest assured). I have worn it as a top rather than a dress in this styling, however I have found that it works perfectly both ways. It is incredibly comfortable, soft, and not fitted at all. The only defect it has is that the label on the inside of the neckline is ridiculously itchy !!!!!  So anyway, I st...

Seven years of the valid excuse 'but I'm just a teenager' and the comfort of not yet reaching adulthood and responsibilities was calming. However, today I teenage no more, so I thought it would be interesting to reflect and to give an insight into 20 things I have learned in 20 years. HOW HAVE I BEEN ON THIS PLANET FOR TWENTY YEARS?!?!  Please, grab a cuppa and enjoy.  1. Turning 20 years old is scary, lol. 2. University is an experience I would 100% recommend to anyone, even though it can be stressful. 3.  Sleep and your diet completely alters how you feel: not enough sleep and you become grouchy; a poor diet and you lose all motivation to do an...
