University open day!

MORNING!

So today I am off to visit a University which I am so excited about. I wanted to look smart for this occasion, but didn't want to look like I was in a business meeting or attending a family wedding - so!!

The dress I am wearing I have used in a previous blog post and it's from ASOS! I love this dress because it's so comfortable and not at all bodycon so if you are wearing it for an entire day, you aren't crying inside because you need to take it off! I paired this with a cotton belt from WAREHOUSE which originally matches with a skirt I have, but I thought I would use it to finish off this dress.
I bought this shirt from TKMAXX and so it may be difficult for you to find this shirt yourself because they don't have a huge array of stock in their stores, however the brand is SANS SOUCI so good luck trying to find that, haha. I like this shirt because it's so lightweight and is slightly baggy so again, gives your body freedom to move - horray! I also added a leather jacket to the mix because it's drawing closer into Autumn so layerslayerayers are eessential! This jacket is 100% leather and is from HEELIES. I love this because you can throw it with any item of your wardrobe for a rock chick look and to give you a little extra warmth. Lastly, shoes! I have recently been loving pointed shoes and these animal print slip ons from ASOS are fabulous - I've been wearing them so much! They are so comfy and make an outfit look really smart - hence why I picked these for today!!

P.s sorry there was no fashion Friday post, I missed it too !

| Festival / Holiday Look No.1 | 20/06/17 |

HELLO HELLO! So this is going to be a little 'saga' of looks I've selected that I think would be super appropriate for your summer holidays, or equally just as good as a festival outfit. I am aiming to make them as realistic as possible, in the sense that each outfit is something that I would actually wear on holiday, and also so that each look is relatively affordable and could incorporate items you already have hidden in your wardrobe, alongside more trend-based pieces. Hopefully, this will be a success and may inspire you while planning your own holiday outfits. I don't know about you guys, but I find it ever so tedious trying to plan holiday outfits, so I feel like this would help me! Lastly, I am going away soon myself, so I am hoping to use these blog posts to document outfit ideas that I will be able to wear myself! Milk it vintage

Dress: Milk It Vintage Leather Jacket: Heeli Ripped jeans: Topshop Trainer pumps: Asos Rucksack: Fjallraven Kanken  Hey! A slow, slightly slurred good morning from me to you, but eh that's what Sunday's are for right... So today I wanted to share with you a blog post containing some simple, casual items, that actually I wear pretty often. So firstly, the dress from Milk It Vintage is something I only purchased about a month ago from Asos and I would highly recommend you take a look at their range of items on the Asos site. So it's a Tshirt style dress with large rips in one shoulder, side and chest (but not too big at the chest, rest assured). I have worn it as a top rather than a dress in this styling, however I have found that it works perfectly both ways. It is incredibly comfortable, soft, and not fitted at all. The only defect it has is that the label on the inside of the neckline is ridiculously itchy !!!!!  So anyway, I st...

Seven years of the valid excuse 'but I'm just a teenager' and the comfort of not yet reaching adulthood and responsibilities was calming. However, today I teenage no more, so I thought it would be interesting to reflect and to give an insight into 20 things I have learned in 20 years. HOW HAVE I BEEN ON THIS PLANET FOR TWENTY YEARS?!?!  Please, grab a cuppa and enjoy.  1. Turning 20 years old is scary, lol. 2. University is an experience I would 100% recommend to anyone, even though it can be stressful. 3.  Sleep and your diet completely alters how you feel: not enough sleep and you become grouchy; a poor diet and you lose all motivation to do an...
