I am a huge fan of wearing denim, and I frequently opt for a baggy jean on an easy day. I tend to chuck on a plain tee, or a jumper when wearing a pair of jeans, but I've recently been loving a blouse or shirt with a pair of jeans, because they are still comfy, and I think they just bring a bit of life to an outfit - an effortless outfit that still looks great (ANOTHER easy fashion tip). So when I found this lace-up blouse from Honey Punch on the ASOS website, I just couldn't resist. I originally bought my regular size (UK6) however, I found this blouse looked a lot better a little oversized, so I sized up and I do not regret it. It is still relatively fitted, but gives you a little space for comfort, and I am keen to throw this in my beach bag when I go away to use as a beach cover-up too, so I feel this blouse is ever so versatile.

I adore the lace-up detailing on the chest, as it adds something special to a plain blouse, and the striped panel detailing on the back really caught my eye and was kinda' what sold it to me. I feel as though for a simple shirt, this one has some great detailing that I haven't seen elsewhere, so I would highly recommend this as a go-to daily blouse, alongside a beach cover-up piece, AND this would also look lovely with a high-waisted denim skirt, or A-line skirt!

So for today's post, I am marking the end of my first year living away from home. It has been a crazy and wonderful first year experiencing the world from my new home away from my family, and I really have enjoyed every minute of it. Therefore, I deemed it was necessary to pop up a blog post so that I can reflect back to this day, and to remember the joyous first year away from home. This time last year... Morning all and welcome to a new week. Today's post is surrounding the much anticipated review of my first festival experience. As you may know if you've kept up-to-date with the blog recently, I attended FIB in Benicassim, which is a music festival! Today I wanted to share with you how I felt about my first festival, and whether I would recommend FIB as a festival I feel you cannot miss out on. ... THE JOURNEY In order to catch our flight, we had to be at Luton airport before 4am, so it was an incredibly early start to the day, wearily on about an hours sleep - thank goodness for Pret and their delicious coffee that was the perfect pick-me-up.
