Cheeky monki headwear

*Jonothan Joly voice* HELLO FRIENDS!

Beanie: Monki
Top: Asos petite
Jeans: Liquor and Poker
Ankle boots: Asos

So today I wanted to post something a little chilled and relaxed, but also something very relevant to my life right now. As the weather is getting colder, I am definitely noticing the pinch in the air and whilst a coat  keeps you warm to an extent, sometimes you need a little more. So, I decided to brave the idea of wearing a hat, cause they look super cool on so many people that I have seen about, and also people I follow (stalk) on Instagram... No shame ... But you have to admit Poppy Deyes and Emma Louise Connolly pull of the beanie look with flying colours. Therefore, whilst on my many Asos searches, I delved into the world of beanies. And what a brilliant idea it was too! I absolutely adore this beanie by Monki, purely because it is so bloomin' warm! It's shearling material and so whilst it is fluffy and soft, it has a little more room for wear and tear than a faux fur hat might have. Also, because it's black it matches with EVERYTHING in my wardrobe which makes it so practical, I love it! Lastly, it actually fits my head which when your head is a pea like mine, it can be tricky to find hats, sunglasses, etc, that will fit nicely. I do think that despite the fact its slightly oversized, that it still looks super edgy and chic, and so I would definitely recommend you getting your hands on one of these bad boys!

AN ASIDE POINT: I am considering refreshing my blog slightly, by including lifestyle and beauty posts, so it would be great if you could let me know what you think of that, either by email or comment. My details are on my Instagram page: angelhowarth and I would appreciate your input so much!

See you soon! X

| Festival / Holiday Look No.1 | 20/06/17 |

HELLO HELLO! So this is going to be a little 'saga' of looks I've selected that I think would be super appropriate for your summer holidays, or equally just as good as a festival outfit. I am aiming to make them as realistic as possible, in the sense that each outfit is something that I would actually wear on holiday, and also so that each look is relatively affordable and could incorporate items you already have hidden in your wardrobe, alongside more trend-based pieces. Hopefully, this will be a success and may inspire you while planning your own holiday outfits. I don't know about you guys, but I find it ever so tedious trying to plan holiday outfits, so I feel like this would help me! Lastly, I am going away soon myself, so I am hoping to use these blog posts to document outfit ideas that I will be able to wear myself! G O O D  M O R N I N G | O UTFIT | Sunglasses: Ralph Lauren  | Tshirt: Asos  | Scarf: Burberry (fake lol)  | Jeans: Asos  | Cardigan: Liz Claiborne | Boots: Office  | SUP GUYS! How are we all doing this morning?  I am currently sat on my bed in the late afternoon, with a hot cup of tea to hand (hopefully I won't forget about it), and I am really digging deep in my thoughts in terms of what I want to talk about today. A stressed student, on the cusp of several deadlines and all I can think about is this blog post. Blogging is a funny thing, sometimes it is my ultimate escape where I can just unwind and spill out onto the page whatever springs to mind. But sometimes, blogging can feel overwhelming, like I am being forced to think about my reality in its most raw state, and sometimes life is not all fun and games, and I just don't really want to come to terms with my busy mind.  Before I babble on about life and bore you all...

| The Truth About Student Life | 20/02/18 |

M O R N I N G  I almost feel like I've forgotten how to write a blog post, so the format of this post might be a bit 'up in the air'. Therefore, before I delve into things, here's a quick disclaimer... On the 26th December, I uploaded a blog post surrounding the topic of social media, and the influence I feel it has on the mental health of its users. Since then, I have been absent from this blog, and largely absent from social media in general, because I feel as though I've had nothing worth saying recently. I would much rather only upload when I am bringing a little something useful to the internet that even if only one person found it interesting, it would at least have a purpose.  This leads swiftly on to the subject of this post. Student life, and the truth about how it feels to experience daily life as a young adult, studying at University. I promise to not sugar coat the finer details, and to accurately portray the common notions of being a student...
