Peace, love, rock and roll - SEXY SIXTIES - Fashion Week



Hey! 

So today's looked is 60's inspired. When I was researching different time periods I was actually quite surprised at how much I didn't know about the sixties. Anyway, this is the outfit I came up with, I hope you liiiiiike it!

So the belted shift dress is from Warehouse and has a felt kind of texture. The belt really brings it in nicely at the waistline, which I think makes it a really flattering piece, no matter what your body shape - it's pretty versatile! Also, I think the bold red colour is perfect for this time of year and as we draws closer to Christmas. I would definitely wear this as it is on a day-to-day basis, or alternatively pair it with a polo neck and thick tights on much colder days. 

Both the sunglasses and shoes have been in my blog before (I have said that so much recently haha I apologise), however the focus is primarily the dress anyway. The shoes, if you're interested, are from New Look and the sunglasses are from Topshop. 

I realise I've kept this short and sweet, but it's Wednesday and who has energy to write for England on a Wednesday?! Evidently not me!!!

| First Year Away From Home | 26/09/17 |

So for today's post, I am marking the end of my first year living away from home. It has been a crazy and wonderful first year experiencing the world from my new home away from my family, and I really have enjoyed every minute of it. Therefore, I deemed it was necessary to pop up a blog post so that I can reflect back to this day, and to remember the joyous first year away from home. This time last year... Despite the fact it doesn't even seem like all that long ago I was living back at home, getting my dinner cooked for me and my washing done, I do believe I have learned a great deal in this time. Morning all and welcome to a new week. Today's post is surrounding the much anticipated review of my first festival experience. As you may know if you've kept up-to-date with the blog recently, I attended FIB in Benicassim, which is a music festival! THE JOURNEY In order to catch our flight, we had to be at Luton airport before 4am, so it was an incredibly early start to the day, wearily on about an hours sleep - thank goodness for Pret  and their delicious coffee that was the perfect pick-me-up.
