HEY DUDES!

In less than a month I am tooting off to Spain for the festival Benicassim with George and some friends, so the next couple of posts are going to be pretty central to outfits relating to festival attire and what I've been wearing during my trip. So, this is the last 'normal' outfit I will be posting for a few weeks, yet to be honest, this is still relatively holiday appropriate. Hope you enjoy.

sorry about the awful brow game...lol

The focal point of this post is evidently this insane shirt by ASOS. When I first came across this shirt on the ASOS website, I absolutely fell in love with the back detailing of it, and also the sketchiness(?) that the print provides. I was also really digging the orange and pink vibes, alongside all the other colours proudly displayed on this piece. However, I must say when it arrived by the lovely DPD that knows me very well now (lol) it really didn't look that great. In fact, it looked SO boxy and like an awfull Hawaiian shirt that I thought 'oh no, I'm gonna have to send this back.' BUT, when I tried it on, I fell straight back in love once more, and honestly I love this shirt so much. If you are a fan of how this shirt looks in the way it sits against the body then I would definitely recommend purchasing a shirt in this style, and please, don't be put off by the way it looks before trying it on!

Dem brows thooooo

Look how beautifully this shirt hangs off the shoulders and how the material sits so nicely against the body - so flattering!
SO, I hope you've all enjoyed reading this post about my emotional roller-coaster love-affair with this colourful shirt. And get ready for a few weeks of FESTIVAL FESTIVAL FESTIVAL FESTIVAAAAAL!

SENDING PEACE AND LOVE X

| Festival / Holiday Look No.1 | 20/06/17 |

HELLO HELLO! So this is going to be a little 'saga' of looks I've selected that I think would be super appropriate for your summer holidays, or equally just as good as a festival outfit. I am aiming to make them as realistic as possible, in the sense that each outfit is something that I would actually wear on holiday, and also so that each look is relatively affordable and could incorporate items you already have hidden in your wardrobe, alongside more trend-based pieces. Hopefully, this will be a success and may inspire you while planning your own holiday outfits. I don't know about you guys, but I find it ever so tedious trying to plan holiday outfits, so I feel like this would help me! Lastly, I am going away soon myself, so I am hoping to use these blog posts to document outfit ideas that I will be able to wear myself! ENJOY. - OUTFIT - Top:  Pretty Little Thing Skirt:  ASOS Sunglasses:  Spitfire Earrings:  ASOS Espadrilles:  ASOS...

| The Truth About Student Life | 20/02/18 |

M O R N I N G  I almost feel like I've forgotten how to write a blog post, so the format of this post might be a bit 'up in the air'. Therefore, before I delve into things, here's a quick disclaimer... On the 26th December, I uploaded a blog post surrounding the topic of social media, and the influence I feel it has on the mental health of its users. Since then, I have been absent from this blog, and largely absent from social media in general, because I feel as though I've had nothing worth saying recently. I would much rather only upload when I am bringing a little something useful to the internet that even if only one person found it interesting, it would at least have a purpose.  This leads swiftly on to the subject of this post. Student life, and the truth about how it feels to experience daily life as a young adult, studying at University. I promise to not sugar coat the finer details, and to accurately portray the common notions of being a student...

| My First Festival Experience. Thoughts From The Heart | 01/08/17 |

Morning all and welcome to a new week. Today's post is surrounding the much anticipated review of my first festival experience. As you may know if you've kept up-to-date with the blog recently, I attended FIB in Benicassim, which is a music festival! Today I wanted to share with you how I felt about my first festival, and whether I would recommend FIB as a festival I feel you cannot miss out on. ... THE JOURNEY In order to catch our flight, we had to be at Luton airport before 4am, so it was an incredibly early start to the day, wearily on about an hours sleep - thank goodness for Pret  and their delicious coffee that was the perfect pick-me-up. We then got on our two hour flight, and had about half an hour afterwards to stretch our legs before clambering onto the coach which had almost too good air conditioning because snoozing became impossible due to freezing to death. 3 hours later and we arrived in Benicassim. We applied our sun cream on thick, were hoarded in l...
