Rokoko

Happy Fashion Friday guys! I hope you're all doing well and (if in the UK) enjoying the rest of the sunny weather while it lasts... Quick spoiler: this blog post does not represent making the most of the sun. Lol.

Dress: Rokoko
So this dress that I purchased from the Asos website is by a brand called Rokoko and they sell an array of beautifully made, unique pieces. I actually wore this dress for my sixth form leavers summer ball ...

I think that the detail is so beautiful on this dress, the small lace bells sleeves tie in with the lace choker and lace detailing on the back, making it so elegant. The quality of this dress is also really lovely, and I think it'll definitely stay with me for a long time to come.

Also wearing: necklace by Anna Saccone, hoop earrings are Asos, and the shoes in the summer ball photo are by New Look!

See you all next week for another post!!!

| Festival / Holiday Look No.1 | 20/06/17 |

HELLO HELLO! So this is going to be a little 'saga' of looks I've selected that I think would be super appropriate for your summer holidays, or equally just as good as a festival outfit. I am aiming to make them as realistic as possible, in the sense that each outfit is something that I would actually wear on holiday, and also so that each look is relatively affordable and could incorporate items you already have hidden in your wardrobe, alongside more trend-based pieces. Hopefully, this will be a success and may inspire you while planning your own holiday outfits. I don't know about you guys, but I find it ever so tedious trying to plan holiday outfits, so I feel like this would help me! Lastly, I am going away soon myself, so I am hoping to use these blog posts to document outfit ideas that I will be able to wear myself! ENJOY. - OUTFIT - Top:  Pretty Little Thing Skirt:  ASOS Sunglasses:  Spitfire Earrings:  ASOS Espadrilles:  ASOS...

Accommodation review: Lloyd Hotel And Cultural Embassy Amsterdam

EVENING MY LOVES! So I returned from my fun-filled trip to Amsterdam in the early hours of Friday morning, and to be honest, I've had a hard time recovering from the colossal amount of food I ate, the probable litres of prosecco I drank, and I surely must have been close to a ga-zillion steps through the 6 days I was wondering around the most beautiful city I have ever visited. As a second timer, I found Amsterdam even better than the first time, so if you are considering going to Amsterdam and you've been before so are hesitant, GO FOR IT! Similarly, if you've never been and are intrigued or you have stalked my Instagram recently, the temptation needs to be given in to - everything is Instagrammable ok!  So I have numerous blog posts lined up around the subject of my visit to Amsterdam, and firstly I want to share with you my accommodation experience.  Lloyd hotel and cultural embassy is located close by to a gorgeous river, but is equally only a 15 minute tram ride away f...

| Let Yourself Grow | 14/07/17 |

Morning everyone.  As the summer months are passing us by, I challenge you to stop and think, for almost a mid-year reflection. What have you achieved this year? How many times have you stepped out of your comfort zone and pushed the boundaries? Is there anything you have managed to do this year that you never thought you could?  It is so important for us to occasionally pause from our busy schedules that never naturally give us a breather, and to take an alternative perspective on our every move in order to reflect on whether we are allowing ourselves to grow. To become a better version of ourselves, with more experience, deeper emotions, and fonder memories.  Today, I aspire to use this blog post to share my own reflection, and the way I am truly feeling in the midst of 2017. Having this platform to share my thoughts is becoming such a great ordeal for me, to be able to express myself in a way I wouldn't usually, and to have a sense of purpose to my life that...
