A cuppa tea solves everything - A British Tradition

Happy Friday guys!

I hope you're all well and that your day is fun filled. I really wanted my vintage tea dress to make another appearance on the blog, because it's too gorgeous to sit in my wardrobe much longer - and also because it's not a winter/ autumnal piece and we are definitely running low on summer time...

I also think this dress can be dressed both up and down, so I wanted to execute the way it's totally cool to keep it casual when wearing vintage pieces, and that a cheap tatty pair of Asos trainer pumps can be worn with timeless items - that's what I am hoping for anyway, ha.

It saddens me to think that in a few years this dress will most definitely not fit me as the stitching is ever so delicate and I even struggle to raise my arms without the fear of that awful *kkkkkkrr* tearing noise - it's quite unbearable!! So, luckily for you, you may become quite sick of seeing this item, but I want to make the most of being small enough to wear it and I think it's a lot of fun to play around with styles when wearing a vintage piece, it's pretty exciting!

So Happy Fashion Friday everyone, and have a fantastic weekend of relaxation (unless you're under 20 and most probably slaving your way to work in a smelly takeaway shop or faking a Cheshire Cat smile as you serve customer after customer - oh the sweet smell of teenage years).

SEE YOU ALL NEXT WEEK!!!!

| Festival / Holiday Look No.1 | 20/06/17 |

HELLO HELLO! So this is going to be a little 'saga' of looks I've selected that I think would be super appropriate for your summer holidays, or equally just as good as a festival outfit. I am aiming to make them as realistic as possible, in the sense that each outfit is something that I would actually wear on holiday, and also so that each look is relatively affordable and could incorporate items you already have hidden in your wardrobe, alongside more trend-based pieces. Hopefully, this will be a success and may inspire you while planning your own holiday outfits. I don't know about you guys, but I find it ever so tedious trying to plan holiday outfits, so I feel like this would help me! Lastly, I am going away soon myself, so I am hoping to use these blog posts to document outfit ideas that I will be able to wear myself! Keeping up with the casual-attire

HAPPY FRIDAY GUYS!  I hope you're having a fabulous Friday doing crazy fun stuff (in which case this may be happy hangover Saturday because you're not likely to be browse- happy tonight) - anyway...       I thought I'd blog about something a bit more personal, an outfit that's more down-to-earth in the sense that it represents my day-to-day style. I am definitely guilty of being a jeans and a nice top kind of gal, and for that, this outfit accurately represents my laziness/ casual daily attire.                Sunglasses: Topshop Leather jacket: Heely's Smock top/ dress: Asos  Choker: Asos Jeans: Topshop Sandals: ?????  I must admit, the only recent item in this outfit is the choker, and I would definitely recommend taking a look on Asos if you're keen to try out a choker because I have lived in mine all summer. It's so comfortable and I managed to find a style online that I thought would suit my style and look ...

Accommodation review: Lloyd Hotel And Cultural Embassy Amsterdam

EVENING MY LOVES! So I returned from my fun-filled trip to Amsterdam in the early hours of Friday morning, and to be honest, I've had a hard time recovering from the colossal amount of food I ate, the probable litres of prosecco I drank, and I surely must have been close to a ga-zillion steps through the 6 days I was wondering around the most beautiful city I have ever visited. As a second timer, I found Amsterdam even better than the first time, so if you are considering going to Amsterdam and you've been before so are hesitant, GO FOR IT! Similarly, if you've never been and are intrigued or you have stalked my Instagram recently, the temptation needs to be given in to - everything is Instagrammable ok!  So I have numerous blog posts lined up around the subject of my visit to Amsterdam, and firstly I want to share with you my accommodation experience.  Lloyd hotel and cultural embassy is located close by to a gorgeous river, but is equally only a 15 minute tram ride away f...
