Awkward trousers and cats?!

Happy Fashion Friday!

I actually feel like I've not posted in so long... It's only been a week though. Hmm.

So today I thought I would share with you something I've had for a while but it seems is coming back into fashion; flares! I bought these trousers from Asos just under a year ago, and I've not worn them too often, partly because they're such an awkward length that I'm never certain what to wear them with, but also because they're quite adventurous I feel. Since flares are coming back into fashion, these lovelies need to make an appearance!!

I'm going to say these trousers are essentially boot cut length, however I feel they are more like ankle swingers haha! They are undescribably comfortable, and the D ring belt pulls them in at the waistline so they're not sluggish - but stylish! Furthermore, I think in order for you to pull off flares, you need to tone everything down and make your trousers the ultimate statement and prominent aspect of your outfit. I also firmly believe flares are tall people trousers (this may be why I feel silly wearing them on less confident days)!

I paired these flares with a very simple, delicate halterneck vest which I purchased last year from Missguided. I also kept to the simple colour contrast by popping on some black shoes to match. These shoes are from Asos and are heeled boots which add that necessary extra height I think are essential for flared trousers.

I hope that you all embrace the return of 70's flares especially as Fashion Week is approaching (be prepared for a fantabulous Fashion Friday post next week as I am ridiculously excited for London Fashion Week).
P.S I have no idea why my legs are static - hence why my trousers are trying to stick to me!! Also, I have no idea who's cat this is, he/she insisted on being in the blog #catclaimtofame

Lots of love,
Angel x

| Festival / Holiday Look No.1 | 20/06/17 |

HELLO HELLO! So this is going to be a little 'saga' of looks I've selected that I think would be super appropriate for your summer holidays, or equally just as good as a festival outfit. I am aiming to make them as realistic as possible, in the sense that each outfit is something that I would actually wear on holiday, and also so that each look is relatively affordable and could incorporate items you already have hidden in your wardrobe, alongside more trend-based pieces. Hopefully, this will be a success and may inspire you while planning your own holiday outfits. I don't know about you guys, but I find it ever so tedious trying to plan holiday outfits, so I feel like this would help me! Lastly, I am going away soon myself, so I am hoping to use these blog posts to document outfit ideas that I will be able to wear myself! ENJOY. - OUTFIT - Top:  Pretty Little Thing Skirt:  ASOS Sunglasses:  Spitfire Earrings:  ASOS Espadrilles:  ASOS...

| Unwinding | 05/09/17 |

Morning you lovely lot! Today on the blog, I have a post all about being able to relax at the end of the day, and how I most like to unwind. We have such busy lives and schedules, that it is so important to take some time at the end of the day to chill out and declutter your mind from the thoughts of the day. Here are the five ways in which I best unwind, and maybe you too could have a think about how you allow yourself to relax. 1. Cuppa tea The most obvious(ly British) way to unwind is to grab yourself a cup of tea. For me, drinking a cup of tea is one of the single most effective and easiest ways to help me unwind. The whole tea experience is something to enjoy, making the perfect brew in your preferred mug, grabbing a couple of biscuits or the whole packet if you fancy it and sitting down to watch Netflix. Before almost completely forgetting that you made the tea but then suddenly saving it when its gone slightly luke warm and the disappointment on your face is unruly...

I live in a house in Northampton and share it with my housemate Lauren. 5. How old are you? I am 19 years old, turning 20 in November. 6. What are your three uni essentials? I would say, in terms of university, my three essentials are 1. a trusty notepad that can be used for to-do lists as well as writing notes in lectures; 2. a lighter - during freshers you will meet a lot ...
