40 pence

Evening all! I just wanted to make a quick blog post for you all, and rather than focusing on a combination of items to create a certain look, I wanted to just draw your attention to one thing. My bucket hat. My eBay jackpot. My 40p purchase.  Ok, so obviously this is a bucket hat not to everybody's taste, and to be honest it won't match with the vast majority of my wardrobe. However, it will be the most practical hat for the summer and/or holidays! So it will look fab with a bikini or swimsuit, or a beachy outfit.  I just wanted to stress to you all that designer items or even high street items can often be overpriced and at times, you ought to remember if you take a little extra time, you can find yourselves a little gem for a great price.  See you sooooon

Milk it vintage

Dress: Milk It Vintage Leather Jacket: Heeli Ripped jeans: Topshop Trainer pumps: Asos Rucksack: Fjallraven Kanken  Hey! A slow, slightly slurred good morning from me to you, but eh that's what Sunday's are for right... So today I wanted to share with you a blog post containing some simple, casual items, that actually I wear pretty often. So firstly, the dress from Milk It Vintage is something I only purchased about a month ago from Asos and I would highly recommend you take a look at their range of items on the Asos site. So it's a Tshirt style dress with large rips in one shoulder, side and chest (but not too big at the chest, rest assured). I have worn it as a top rather than a dress in this styling, however I have found that it works perfectly both ways. It is incredibly comfortable, soft, and not fitted at all. The only defect it has is that the label on the inside of the neckline is ridiculously itchy !!!!!  So anyway, I st...

I AM BACK.... WITH BELL SLEEVES

Afternoon my lovely lovely readers!! I have literally vanished off the blogging planet since the beginning of January, and I obviously therefore haven't been updating you with trendy treasures, so I'm sorry for that!! Sometimes though, you need to take a break (a six month break lol) and since I had Alevels this year I really needed to focus my time on those. Also, I've had a bit of a rocky year so far and so I really needed to spend some time on myself and my own well being. But I am 100% back and ready to get back on board with the blog. I am sooo excited! So I hope you enjoy :) Dress: Kiss The Sky (Asos)  White Sunglasses: Primark Peach Sunglasses: Topshop Heels: Asos  Fringe bag: New Look Hoop earrings: Asos So, this year I have been completely infatuated so far with festival inspired items of clothing, boho patterns and as always, I've been enjoying fringing on items. So, I figured that this dress would be perfect for a summers day...

5 pet hates ...

Evening guys, so I was just browsing on asos and cringing at some of the things I was scrolling through. So I decided to blog about it. Standard.  I am going to guide you through my top 5 fashion pet hates, the things you will probably never see me wear!! Number 5: The cropped tank top  Ok, so I just wanna say that it doesn't bother me if you wear any of the things I put up on my top 5 pet hates, however I just personally do not understand why you like them, that's all. Lol.  So the cropped tank top. It's tight and makes your boobs look squashed. It also is at the complete wrong height, where your belly button is just peeping out, but it still lets your rolls hang out - not so flattering in my opinion. Already, WHY?! I also feel like it squashes all your middle together and leaves your arms to bulge out and I just end up feeling like I'm being squeezed at the tummy and all my flesh is forced out into my arms - it's just so uncomfortable!!! To be honest, tank tops ar...

Accommodation review: Lloyd Hotel And Cultural Embassy Amsterdam

EVENING MY LOVES! So I returned from my fun-filled trip to Amsterdam in the early hours of Friday morning, and to be honest, I've had a hard time recovering from the colossal amount of food I ate, the probable litres of prosecco I drank, and I surely must have been close to a ga-zillion steps through the 6 days I was wondering around the most beautiful city I have ever visited. As a second timer, I found Amsterdam even better than the first time, so if you are considering going to Amsterdam and you've been before so are hesitant, GO FOR IT! Similarly, if you've never been and are intrigued or you have stalked my Instagram recently, the temptation needs to be given in to - everything is Instagrammable ok!  So I have numerous blog posts lined up around the subject of my visit to Amsterdam, and firstly I want to share with you my accommodation experience.  Lloyd hotel and cultural embassy is located close by to a gorgeous river, but is equally only a 15 minute tram ride away f...

2015 unedited.

Morning guys, So today is the last day of the year, 31/12/2015! As a result, I thought I'd take the opportunity to talk to you about my year, my blogging, and general bits and pieces. Most importantly, are any of you making New Year's resolutions? I know I am, and I'm going to 'try' to post more regularly and be a little bit more creative with my blog posts - but eh, does anyone stick to their resolutions? We shall see... Also, I know I've only been blogging for half of 2015, but this year has definitely been one to reflect on my blog, and how far I've come. I know my blog isn't rocketing sky high or anything, but I've thoroughly enjoyed learning how to make my blog look cool, how to edit photos and also how to struggle with keeping up to date with posts - tricky business.  I don't have any brands to brag about today, nor do I have any reviews of anything in particular, but to coincide with the theme of 'unedited', I thought I would post ...

Angel brownies

Morning guys,  So yesterday I decided it would be fun to make some brownies but also adding a Christmas twist! So I whipped out my rose gold Angel cutter that I purchased from Sainsbury's - it's currently in the sale for something crazy like £1 and 'tried' to make some yummy festive treats. ALSO; this is my first baking themed blog post, therefore you have to let me off for poor aesthetics on the presentation front!!  YOU WILL NEED: 100G COCOA 250G BUTTER 500G CASTER SUGAR 4 BEATEN EGGS 100G SELF-RAISING FLOUR OPTIONAL: ICING SUGAR TO DUST So firstly, preheat the oven to 180-160 degrees Celsius and then you need to measure out the cocoa, butter and sugar, and pop them in a large saucepan. Keep the heat on the hob low, it just needs to gently melt the ingredients together. Keep mixing too, or it'll stick to the bottom of the pan which is no good! Then, once mixed together, beat your eggs, and slowly add to the mixture. Only add a little at a time, mix, then add a bit...
